• Poe and the Halloween Spirit

Monsters, ghosts, scary stories, these are part of the Halloween Spirit that pops in our minds this time of year.  Who is considered, by some, to be the master of horror writing?  That would be none other than Edgar Allen Poe. The writer of many famous stories and poems such as "The Tell-Tale Heart" "Pit and the Pendulum" and probably his most well know "The Raven" but one, in particular, has always been my favorite.  "The Mask of the Red Death" let the image I've selected burn into your minds as you read about this particularly epic tale of death and horror.  The link sends you to the Wikipedia Page where you can get a little more in-depth for anyone else who's intrigued. Enjoy
